1986.07畢業于安徽師範大學化學系，獲學士學位；
1989.07畢業于中國科學院昆明植物研究所，獲天然産物化學碩士學位；
1995.08-1998.08在美國華盛頓大學化學系留學并從事博士學位論文研究，于1999.11獲中國科學院植物學博士學位；
1989.07-2004.01在中國科學院昆明植物研究所先後任實習研究員、助理研究員、副研究員和研究員
2004.2-2010.06任廈門大學生命科學學院教授；
2010.07至今任推荐几个网赌网站和微生物技術國家重點實驗室教授。
