四、研究方向與特色簡介
1.腫瘤藥理學研究
主要研究腫瘤發生、遷襲和轉移的分子機制及腫瘤耐藥的分子機制。承擔國家自然基金面上項目2項；與南澳大學等國際合作項目4項。主要緻力于腫瘤轉移生物标志物的研究和腫瘤多藥耐藥分子機制研究，在此基礎上尋找抗腫瘤轉移新藥及逆轉腫瘤多藥耐藥的藥物。另外，負責多項國家“十一五”和“十二五”重大新藥創制專項的藥效學研究。
2.心腦血管藥理學研究
主要緻力于研究活性氧和鈣離子在心腦血管疾病發病過程中的作用，在此基礎上尋找具有治療心腦血管疾病潛力的抗氧化劑和鈣拮抗劑，尤其是植物來源的化合物。已結題國家自然基金項目1項，山東省優秀中青年科學家獎勵基金項目1項。主要研究體内或細胞内不同濃度活性氧水平與心腦血管疾病以及血管内皮細胞、血管平滑肌細胞和神經細胞間的相關性。
3.活性化合物篩選和新藥藥效學評價工作
開展化合物的活性篩選工作，包括體外篩選和體内篩選；開展候選化合物的藥效學評價工作并揭示其作用機制。
